Hydronic Heating Service Repair and Maintenance

We currently only offer service and maintenance of hydronic systems that Melbourne Hydronic Heating has installed. We do not service or repair boiler units or systems installed by others

Prevention is better than an expensive cure and you’ll find most warranties in Australia (especially extended ones) for your boiler are only set in stone if you have records of a regular boiler service and check.

When your hydronic heating system is cleared of air pockets, evenly balanced for heat output and the boiler parts are clean with unimeded airflow for the flue, your equipment will be under less stress, it will last longer, and your energy costs will be at an optimum .

We are accredited Baxi, Sime, immergas service tech and installers.

A general service based on a single domestic boiler is $260.00 (Melbourne metro)

This includes:

Check gas and water pressures
Clean/clear flue airways
Check system panels/floorcoils for trapped air
Balance water flow to panels /floorcoil zones for equal heat distribution
Check system inhibitor consistency
Check thermostat programmer
Update service manual booklet (for warranty if applicable)

Any repair of faults or issues with existing pipework, fittings, programmers, boiler parts and associated equipment beyond initial warranty periods are not covered in the general service fee. Additional costs may apply and will not be addressed unless confirmation of additional works/costings are agreed by you.

Being such a big and expensive install I think its worth a review. We are very happy with the install from Darren and team. We have a massive house and we are now warm everywhere in the house. Generally a very clean install. They were not the cheapest quote but we felt they had the best ideas for making the installation as hidden as possible and they were very willing to discuss locations of each unit in a way that suits the look of the house. The hydronic system is also very economical.

Our son has allergy’s, so it was a not a big decision to swap ducted to hydronic heating. Our home was architecturally designed with not too many options for the retro fitting of hydronic panels. Darren found ways to enable panels in all areas where others said it could not be done.
